Free Weekend Parking Returns to Merthyr Tydfil Town Centre

Christmas shoppers in Merthyr Tydfil have the added incentive again this year of free weekend parking, starting on Saturday 19th November – just in time for the Merthyr Christmas Fun day.

The Big Heart of Merthyr Tydfil Business Improvement District (BID) and Merthyr County Borough Council are encouraging people to take advantage of free parking at all car parks in the town centre on Fridays and Saturdays – Sundays are already free – until 31st December 2022. By not worrying about how long they can spend in the town centre before returning to their vehicles, shoppers can relax and enjoy our extensive and diverse range of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.
