Visit Merthyr Tydfil town centre from 11am on Saturday, 18th November, for a fabulous day of free festive family fun!

The ice-cold Snow Queen and her amazing snow lion will be making personal appearances, and the hilarious Granny Duo will be on hand to get you all into the Christmas spirit!

Visit Santa and his helpers at their magical Grotto in St Tydfil Shopping Centre from 12pm. And enjoy a whole host of other seasonal attractions, including real reindeer, fairground rides, a pop-up Christmas Market, walkabout characters including Barbie and Ken, face painting, a giant snow globe, dance and music performances by community groups, a photo booth, and so much more.

Then make your way to Penderyn Square for 5pm, where Capital FMs Josh and Kally will be your hosts, with plenty of festive fun, Christmas music, and a few surprises thrown in for good measure! Not forgetting Santa Claus himself, who is very excited to meet you all.

As darkness falls, our very own VIP family competition winners will press the plunger and light up the town at approximately 5:30pm, beginning the countdown to Christmas.
